Step back in time at the annual Fort Massac Encampment in Metropolis, Illinois! This two-day festival brings history to life with authentic 18th-century military drills, period craftsmen, traditional music, and reenactors portraying colonial and frontier life. Visitors can explore encampments, enjoy unique food, shop handmade goods, and experience one of Illinois’ largest and most beloved living history events along the scenic Ohio River.

2:30 PM – Shuttle service will pause – Will resume after the battle
3:00 PM – Tactical Demonstration & Mock Battle at the Battle Field
5:00 PM – Military Retreat & Closing Ceremonies in the Old Fort Area
6:00 PM – Shuttle Service ends
