Mark your calendars for Friday October 18th, 2025, as Fort Massac State Park will become the biggest History Classroom in Southern Illinois. Step into the past and witness history come to life right before your eyes. From the French and Indian War to the early 1800s, your students will be fully immersed in historical events like never before. Our all-star team of volunteer re-enactors will be on hand to showcase demonstrations and presentations that will make history class the highlight of your school year! Join us for Education Day!!!
Buses are recommended to arrive at 9AM.
Program will begin at 9:30AM and end at 2:00PM
Each group will receive a schedule for the day upon arrival.
Limited food vendors will be open. Students should bring sack lunches for a lunch break from 11AM – 12PM
Merchants will sell items on a limited basis.
Registration is not required but highly recommended due to high numbers of students attending.
