Metropolis, IL, is located at the very southernmost tip of Illinois.  Traveling on Interstate 24, you will take Exit 37 to Highway 45.  This will take you directly into the city of Metropolis.

Where would I fly into to come to Metropolis? 

The closest airport is Barkley Regional Airport in Paducah, KY.  Metropolis is a short 15-minute drive from this airport. The closest international airports are in Nashville, TN and St. Louis, MO.  Both are an easy 2.5-hour drive to Metropolis.
